Our Standards

Three Branches believes in God-given human potential. From conception, we are blessed to have the powers to heal deep inside of us. Ancient history's and centuries-old methods of healing are based on the body's innate power to reconstruct, mend and grow stronger, given the right elements of food, water, environment, and care. History has lessons to follow if we are only open to see.

We agree with Hippocrates, M.D., the Father of Western Medicine, who said "Everyone has a doctor in him or her; we just have to help it in its work. The natural healing force within each one of us is the greatest force in getting well. Our food should be our medicine. Our medicine should be our food."

Our Philosophy

We respect the body's ability to repair and heal itself and Three Branches works to uncover potential blocks to healing found in the environment and diet in order to facilitate this innate process. We are committed to discovering and sharing those answers that "do no harm".

Our Standard

The Three Branches criterion for evaluating any material, product, or technology is based on the principle of the "canaries in the mine". In the past, coal miners would release canaries into the mine, knowing they would die with the first sniff of poisonous gas. This would warn the miners from going any deeper.

Unfortunately, in today's world, the chemically and electromagnetically sensitive have become our "canaries", establishing the benchmark for product safety. If they can tolerate a material, then everyone else can, but if they get sick or die, then everyone is potentially vulnerable and further evaluation is necessary. By using this principle, we are given a standard for safe materials and technology. We set standards that favor human health, not industry or societal trends. Our information, content and recommendations are based on these standards as well as client and personal experiences. We know that if we offer what is good for these "canaries", it will be good for you.
